The Lady Joseph Trust is delighted to announce that Her Royal Highness, The Duchess of Cornwall has accepted the invitation to become President of the charity. The invitation was issued following a visit by The Duchess to a para world class team training session. Our riders were thrilled by the interest and enthusiasm shown by The Duchess.
The Lady Joseph Charitable Trust was formed in 2009 from funds allocated for charitable purposes from my grandmother’s estate.
My passion for dressage and my admiration for our para riders and their incredible success on the international stage, led me to form the charity.
As with all competition riders and possibly even more with para riders the provision of suitable horse power is crucially important. The aim of the charity is to acquire horses for our elite para riders to ensure they have the continued horse power to win medals in 2012 and beyond.
