The Lady Joseph Trust is delighted that Deb Criddle and LJT Akilles was part of the gold medal  winning GB dressage team and won a further 2 individual silver medals for  Great Britain at the 2012 Paralympics. Akilles is a 12 year old chestnut gelding by Amiral and Deb has had the ride since the spring of 2011, the pair have developed a great rapport and achieved enormous success in the relatively short period of time.

LJT Silhouette and rider Theresa Smyth have won the 5 year old National Young Horse Championship at Hickstead. The winning score of 9.46 included 10 for the walk. We are sure a great future awaits this talented horse.

In her role as President, Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall continues to show a great interest in the trust and the progress of the LJT horses and their riders; this support  is hugely valued and appreciated.

The Lady Joseph Charitable Trust was formed in 2009 from funds allocated for charitable purposes from my grandmother’s estate.

My passion for dressage and my admiration for our para riders and their incredible success on the international stage, led me to form the charity.

As with all competition riders and possibly even more with para riders the provision of suitable horse power is crucially important. The aim of the charity is to acquire horses for our elite para riders to ensure they have the continued horse power to win medals in 2012 and beyond.

Thank you for visiting the website and for showing an interest in the charity. If you would like to place a donation I will be happy to acknowledge receipt and through the website will keep you informed of any fund raising events we have planned.
